Paula's reflection

You may have seen that this blog has many entries and it is about different topics. So, in this entry I am going to make a reflection about the blog done for English in Primary Education. I am going to put the entries that I have enjoyed doing the most and the entries that I have found the most difficult to do.

First, I would like to say that the idea of creating a blog, in which we have to post different entries with tasks is very intereting. This allows us to work on several of the skills and, as a result, it makes you improve your English learning. I think that we have worked on the four skills (speaking, reading, writing and listening). We have worked on speaking because we had to record several videos where we had to talk about interesting topics, such as the series review. Then, we have improved our writing skills because we have had to write several entries and in each one we had to use different types of language (academic, informal, etc), such as the book review. Also, we have worked on reading skills in some posts because we have read such as newspaper articles. Finally, we have improved listening skills because we have seen videos to know how is the structure of videos, for example the ted talk. Thanks to this, I have been able to improve my use of English, pronunciation, expand my vocabulary, and so on.

What I found more complicated was to summarize an article because it was difficult to find a piece of news that most people could understand (there were many of them related to politics and there was a lot of new vocabulary). On the other hand, what I liked the most is to describe the pictures with vts methodology because I had never done it before and it makes you pay more attention to the details of a picture and makes you notice things you hadn't noticed before, as well as developing your creativity.

In conclusion, this blog is very useful because it makes you improve your skills, besides it makes you work weekly. Also, you have to know how to organize the weekly work, both individually and in pairs, but I think we have done quite well. In addition to organizing it, we have done the mandatory and extra entries as best we could and it has been enriching to do it in pairs as we learn from each other.
